May has arrived and with it comes Mother’s Day. I’m having a hard time believing it’s already upon us.
Mother’s Day is one of the biggest holidays for the floral industry. It’s a collision of spring, with its amazing blooms, and moms, who deserve to be pampered and surrounded by beauty. It’s going to be a really hectic week in the shop making sure every blossom and stem is perfect enough to be included in the poseys and arrangements going to all the fabulous mamas in our lives. Every time of year is fun to design, yet there is something special about spring with the flowers such as hyacinths, lilies, lilacs, and jasmine adding another sensory piece to bouquets with their amazing perfumes.
This week is extra busy and fun because we’re having our first floral workshop since opening our store front. I’m not allowing myself to be overwhelmed because I’m so looking forward to making all the beautiful mamas out there a little happier with some special flowers. Each posey is made with love and care by me! So make sure to show your mama you remembered and care and order your poseys and arrangements ASAP!
